THE CONCEPT

The rejection of conventional artistic practices was a key aspect of the Dada movement's anti-establishment ethos and collage played a pivotal role by letting them embrace chance and randomness. Artists would often incorporate found objects and images into their collages without predetermined plans, allowing the creative process to unfold spontaneously.

Using fragments from the artwork "Optophone I" by the French Dadaist Francis Picabia, which addressed the rapid advancement of technology of the era. The circular shapes in the artwork mimic the functionality of an optophone, a device designed to assist the visually impaired by scanning texts and images, enabling them to identify letters on a page through tactile feedback.  --
